The National Agenda for Action: How to Close Americas Mentoring Gap

Youth developments experts now agree that mentoring is a critical element in any child’s social, emotional and cognitive development. 3 million young people in America are currently matched with mentors. A further 15 million could benefit from mentoring but are waiting due to a shortage of mentors. The National Agenda for Action was created to rectify this situation – outlining steps required to close the mentoring gap.
