Funding: BIG to award 2 million pounds extra to existing grant holders
02 Feb Existing Big Lottery Fund Scotland grant holders, that have lost funding from other sources as a result of the current financial climate, are now able to bid for part of an extra two million pounds. Scotland's biggest funder is offering projects currently receiving BIG funding, that are experiencing difficulty, some extra financial support in the first half of 2012.

26 Jan The Baring Foundation was set up in 1969 to give money to charities and voluntary organisations pursuing charitable purposes. In 42 years they have given 102.5 million pounds in grants. Their budget for grant-making in 2011 is 2.2 million pounds.The Foundation operates three grant programmes which aim to strengthen the voluntary sector, international development and the arts.
