Employability Learning Network - Peer Support and Mentoring Learning Event

16 February 2010
Atlantic Quay - Glasgow

This event will allow you to hear from several mentors and peer supporters, who will be talking about their experience as well as hearing how Peer Support and Mentoring can be of benefit at different stages of the employability pathway.

Peer support and mentoring can play an important, and sometimes untapped, role in helping people along the employability pathway, assisting people to overcome a range of barriers and move forward in life. With this in mind, the Employability Learning Network commissioned Light on the Path to develop learning points and case studies which you can find on the Employability in Scotland website.

To help gain a deeper understanding of how peer support and mentoring can work, we have asked Light on the Path to run a ‘How To’ event for the Employability Learning Network on 16 February in Glasgow. This event will allow you to hear from several mentors and peer supporters, who will be talking about their experience as well as hearing how Peer Support and Mentoring can be of benefit at different stages of the employability pathway.

The event will run from : 10:30am – 4:30pm
