Scottish Mentoring Network and The Robertson Trust are delighted to announce that we are hosting a Mentoring Information Event at the Robertson Trust’s brand new Conference Centre, The Barracks, in Stirling.

This event is the perfect opportunity to learn about the different considerations you will need to make before running a mentoring programme.  Scottish Mentoring Network has been supporting organisations to run mentoring programmes since 2005, and holds a wealth of knowledge from academics, programme managers and trainers.

By coming along to this event you will have the opportunity to ask the questions which you might be considering before developing a mentoring programme.  A mentoring approach can be a highly empowering way to support vulnerable clients, however there are many considerations to be made, from how to recruit and train mentors, to how to end ensure the mentoring relationship has a positive ending and evaluating your programme.

At this event, we will take you through the 10 steps to Mentoring, and explore the different options for preparing your team to run the mentoring programme.

This is a FREE half day event, with a networking lunch and opportunity to talk to mentoring co-ordinators about their experiences of running mentoring programmes.  Lunch will be served from 12:30pm.
